How does pricing work?

Our pricing is Pay-As-You-Go. For pre-recorded audio, pricing is based on the duration of the audio file submitted, the Speech Model selected, and the features used in the request. For streaming audio, pricing is based on the duration of the streaming session. For LeMUR, pricing is based on input and output token size.

You can find the breakdown of all our pricing information on our Pricing page!

Pricing Structure (pre-recorded audio)

  • We charge based on the actual duration of your audio/video files in seconds
  • Rates are listed per hour for simplicity, but we pro-rate to the exact second for billing purposes
  • Additional features (like Entity Detection) are also charged at their respective hourly rates, pro-rated to the exact second

Pricing Structure (streaming audio)

  • We charge based on the duration of the created session

Streaming Session Best Practices

  • Sessions must be properly closed by sending a session termination message to end billing
  • If a session is not closed properly, it will automatically close after 3 hours and you will be charged for the full 3-hour duration
  • Always ensure you send the correct session terminate message to avoid unexpected charges

Account Balance Management

  • Monitor your account balance on the Billing page of the account dashboard to avoid service interruptions
  • Enable autopay to automatically add funds when your balance drops below a set threshold
  • End of Month billing is available for enterprise customers who prefer monthly invoicing

If your account balance becomes negative, API requests will return an error until you add more credits to your account. Improperly closed streaming sessions are a common cause of unexpected charges that lead to negative balances.

Credit System

  • Add credits to your account balance
  • Credits are deducted only after successful transcription completion
  • Failed transcripts are not charged
  • We don’t offer unlimited usage plans or monthly subscriptions - we only charge you for what you use.
